You can view the memory limit with 'ulimit -l', and it is normally controlled by /etc/security/limits.conf This needs to be addressed. navigate here I've checked limits.conf, everything ok. The link you need to read is already posted in this thread. Essentially you are beta testing new software. Maybe some of you lgeeks can tall me why this is so? Additional info: It can be started as sudo / root-user, but that is not recommended, and does not work well with Jack.
