Is this where you added the .h files (directly to the "header files" folder)?Click to expand... Click the “New” Button 18. The chips I have seen employed with the stack are in the "7" memory sizing - 128k of program, 3.9k ram. I'll try and post the results. have a peek at this web-site

It is not always enough. I meant that including the header file in the code does not actually add it to the project. Errors : 1 2. I assume that's correct so far? Do you actually have a 'main' function in your code, and if so, exactly how is it defined? Anyone here got any ideas on how to solve this? In my usages of the stack, I don't modify it.
http://www.winpicprog.co.uk/ Nigel's tutorials.. To do that, you need to add the .h in the project wizard. The aim here is simply to get MPLAB 8.00 and C18 V3.42 working together for the first time. see this here the linker is passed several object files and then links all of these files to generate your application.
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site. 10 Responses to "Microchip MPLAB :: Error - could not find file ‘c018i.o'." Bor said July 16, 2010 at 6:10 What did you install first... Anyway, I looked at the original user_routines_fast.c and saw it had an empty function defined to satisfy that requirement, so I just copied it over to the new one and it I think this error for some reason looks too general.
If you use a board which is modeled after one of the Microchip offerings, then the stack will build to run on it. http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=2934.0 Clean: Deleted file "C:\picprojects\leds.o". As to whether the rest are correct, the paths listed in my post #10 in this thread were individually cut and pasted from the boxes in the actual C18 toolsuite settings Check This Out Click on Project > Build Options… > Project 3. From the Show Directories for Drop list select “Linker-Script Search Path” 20. But it seems like they're making a reasonable effort to add all the double-quotes, so maybe that's not a real problem. Okay, thanks for letting me know P.S. The default LKR script IS, as you say, automatically included... Related This entry was posted on April 26, 2010 at 4:17 am and is filed under Microchip PIC.

Another useful thing to do is to use a utility called WinDiff: It is available free: http://www.grigsoft.com/download-windiff.htm this can be used by specifying your current version of MainDemo.c and an original As to why I'm using MPLAB V8.00 (apart from the fact that it is simply what I already have, and has served me perfectly well until now) it runs moderately well Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in: Email (required) (Address never made public) Name (required) Website You are commenting using your WordPress.com account.
