i think i have replaced the file once. But when I search in the system32 folder the files aren't there. I need the Common Dialog Control for Browse and Select the file, and the selected file path was stored in a textbox. so that's not the cause of the problem I guess. regsvr was always a mystery to the VB crowd at the time. The COMDLG32.OCX only was Registered Successfully. So am click the more controls button to Select the "Microsoft Common Dialog Control, Version 6.0". I tried registering the .DLL file using regsvr32, but that would come up with an error also: the DllRegister Server entry point was not found. This file can not be registered.
